Like most artists Stuart’s introduction to the arts was at a very early age and since then they have always played a major part in his life. Expressing himself through drawings and sketches throughout his childhood he later expanded into the world of music where he learned to play various instruments through his teens.

He is driven through shear passion and an unflinching eye for detail, thus helping him become an award winning artist in less than six months of picking up an airbrush. The self imposed high standards and strive for perfection in everything he does means that everyone who commissions a piece of original artwork will always get the best. Stuart shares the philosophy that it simply takes as long as it takes to get a picture perfect, although recent commissions have imposed very tight deadlines which were met without compromise.

Stuart has a high demand for portrait work due to his ability to capture the essence of the subject, be this on a canvass, illustration board, a bike, crash helmet, guitar, drum skin, leather jacket or computer case. The main rule is – if it can be prepped, it can be painted.

Stuart’s work is not limited to portraiture and has a personal passion for flames and skulls which is reflected in his original artworks.
